While most travelers are sipping on Merlot and enjoying leisurely strolls around the city, artist and professional figure skater Steven Smith is busy scouring markets for clothes to revive and coloring canvases. His exhibition titled Globetrotting Fun showcases one-of-a-kind wearable art and acrylic paintings that he created while touring the world as a professional figure skater with Disney on Ice.

Inspired by places such as France, Spain, Brazil, Japan, and more, this collection recreates the playfulness and free spirited nature of youth; with the goal to make viewers smile. “Life should be fun,” Steven claims, “I traveled the world making people smile through performing, now I want them to smile when they see my art work.”

The clothing on display features highly detailed, hand stitched, and painted: hats, scarves, shirts, pants, and jeans, available for men and women. Steven’s clothing designs revive the old, as he claims to, “take new, used, vintage or just plain found clothing and breathe life into it.”
